Here at GirlMogul we like to post about great products for the tween market – ones that will encourage girls to think big, to get crafty, pursue an interest or hobby. Ok, so basically we stay away from Barbies and dolls, preferring toys for girls that are more about developing your girl power. And as we mentioned before, we liek Alex Toys products a lot – they are pretty good at putting a whole kit in a box. So get your inner Casatt (that would be Mary – a famous women Impressionist painter) and start drawing your world today.

I just bought this for my 6 year-old girl's birthday, and it exceeded my expectations. I wanted to take it away from her so I could play with it! It comes with a great variety of images, but I think it would be super easy to convert clipart into an image that could be projected (e.g. Xmas, etc.) This is my new favorite toy I'll be buying for nieces and nephews!
Nice Surprise!

I was surprised at how well this worked. The images are very cute, come in very clear, and are easy to trace. My 5 year old hasn't stopped using it since she got it a week ago. She can use it competely independently and it's portable so she has taken it with her to several places. It's definately a little pricey, but I would get it again. She plans on using it to send cards to family, invitations, etc. Worth the price.
Love it!

I bought this for my 8 year old son for his birthday. He just opened up all of his presents and this is the one that he wanted to try out first. I have to say, it's really cute. It doesn't come with batteries, so make sure you have 3 AA on hand. He's currently making his first drawing and it looks really good. You also have the ability to make a frog flip-book...that's what we're going to try next. This toy is alot of fun!
My daughter loves it..

We got this for my six year-old daughter for Christmas. I knew she would either love it or never play with it: she has a bit of a short attention span. As I figured, she loves it. She has played with it many times a day, every day since Christmas. She's probably made close to 50 drawings so far. She loves that you can use multiple slides to add on to your picture (many of the slides have similar themes). And like someone else said, I've snuck it away a couple of times to use it myself. The projection could be a little better: it's a tad blurry at times. But it's by far my daughter's favorite Christmas gift and in the top two of favorite gifts of all time for her. She loves it, and I do too. I should add that I paid quite a bit less than it's selling for now, by about twenty bucks.
Great Toy

This toy was one of my 5 yr old sons favorite toys, he plays with it for hours. He is so amazed how he can actually draw all the images. I think it is great for his self confidence!!!!!!
