Tween Book Review – I So Don’t Do Spooky by Barrie Summy

I So Don't Do Spooky

So, I So Don’t So Spooky by Barrie Summy is the second in a series about sleuth Sherry Holmes Baldwin  While you might think this is just your average run of the mill detective story – think again, cause Sherry’s specialty is supernatural mysteries – and this time an evil spirit is out to get her new stepmom.  With the help of her real mom – who’s a new member of the Academy of Spirits – that’s for ghosts who help out on earth, Sherry has to figure out who has it in for her stepmom, an crunchy granola computer teacher at her school.

And, to make things even more crazy, Sherry needs to balance her boyfriend Josh and her best friend’s Junie interest in robotics – and the slightly nerdy science guy.   Sherry’s no geek herself, but she’s plenty clever – and it’s a good thing, because she’ll need all her wits to solve this mystery.    Be sure to check out the first in the series and keep your eye out for the third book coming this spring.
